I am a psychologist (clinical) and a Compassionate Inquiry (CI) Practitioner. My work is grounded in CI and combines somatic therapy, Transactional Analysis, IFS, and other evidence-based psychological approaches to support people in understanding themselves and reconnecting with themselves with authenticity, self-acceptance, and choice.
My journey into psychology began with a personal crisis that led me to question the nature of human suffering and the patterns that shape our lives. I found myself asking: Why are things unfolding this way? What drives our behaviour? How might I be contributing to my own suffering? Those questions became the beginning of a search for understanding trauma, adaptation, and healing.
Around that time, I came across Dr. Gabor Maté’s work. His perspective resonated deeply with me and became an important source of inspiration.
Before becoming a psychologist, I spent over 20 years leading marketing for global technology organizations. Having lived & worked in high-pressure environments, I understand what it can cost to be endlessly capable and to keep achieving while slowly losing touch with ourselves. These experiences help me to meet people with humility, presence, and a genuine understanding.
Alongside my practice, I serve on the Board of Directors at the Coleen Cunningham Foundation, supporting awareness & research for Atypical Parkinsonism. I am also a writer & creative thinker.
I believe healing begins not by becoming someone else, but when we see ourselves with honesty and compassion.
“Only when compassion is present will people allow themselves to see the truth.” A.H. Almaas
