Join us for a 3-day Experiential Intensive in Malaysia, December 2025
Mental health challenges are on the rise in Southeast Asia, with the region accounting for 27% of global depression cases and 23% of anxiety cases (WHO). Rapid urbanization and societal pressures contribute to stress and untreated mental health issues due to stigma and limited healthcare access. At the root of these struggles are limiting core beliefs and negative self-talk, shaped by early life experiences. These hidden patterns influence self-worth, relationships, and overall well-being. By recognizing and reshaping hese beliefs, individuals can cultivate resilience and healing.nd rather than making any of this wrong, you will explore how “all of you” supports your clients’ process, provided you can stay out of their way.
This retreat offers a transformative experience to explore mental health, core beliefs, and self-awareness using Compassionate Inquiry®, a psychotherapeutic approach created by Dr. Gabor Maté.
Sat Dharam Kaur ND, the lead facilitator of this retreat, developed his approach into a training program that could be taught to others. Through guided introspection, participants will uncover unconscious patterns, release suppressed emotions, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
By freeing ourselves from past narratives, we open the door to greater clarity, choice, and emotional freedom.

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for anyone ready to turn inward and do the courageous work of self-inquiry and healing. Whether you’re a team leader, a caregiver, a coach – or simply someone seeking to live with more awareness and compassion – this is for you.
You may be…
A mid-level manager or C-suite leader looking to deepen your capacity for self-leadership
A coach, therapist, or facilitator seeking to hold safer, deeper spaces for others
A seeker or individual on a personal growth journey, curious about your patterns and ready to reconnect with your inner self
No matter your role, this retreat invites you to shift from reactivity to presence, from performance to authenticity, and from limiting beliefs to inner liberation.
While the tools explored here may strengthen your leadership presence, this is not a corporate leadership program. It is a psychotherapy-informed retreat that supports you in cultivating the most important leadership of all: the leadership of your Self – in work, in life, and in relationship with others.
Location and Schedule
We will start at 9.00am on Friday 5th December 2025 and complete by 5.00pm on Sunday 7th December 2025.
Location: Ratu Rening Residency, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The retreat will be held at Ratu Rening, a serene private estate nestled in the forest, where nature gently holds space for inner transformation. All accommodations are shared rooms, thoughtfully designed to foster connection, safety, and support.
We understand that doing deep inner work can feel vulnerable, which is why we encourage participants to come with a friend, loved one, or someone they trust. Sharing a room creates a sense of familiarity and co-regulation, helping you feel grounded and seen as you journey inward. For those joining solo, we pair you with fellow participants who share a similar intention – a chance to feel part of a like-minded community, where healing happens not in isolation, but in togetherness.
At Ratu Rening, healing is supported not just by the work itself, but by the environment: a sacred space where nature, connection, and compassion come together.
