Iris Laurencio uses a trauma-informed, somatic, and relational approach that supports the gentle exploration of unconscious patterns, beliefs, and adaptations shaped by early experiences, relational environments, and intergenerational influences, fostering greater awareness, self-compassion, and choice.
Her work is grounded in the understanding that many emotional and relational struggles are intelligent survival strategies rather than signs of dysfunction. Iris supports clients in meeting patterns such as shame, self-criticism, and defensiveness with curiosity and care, allowing them to soften through embodied awareness rather than force or self-judgment.
Alongside her private practice, Iris brings over 15 years of experience working in schools and educational systems, supporting educators and leaders through restorative justice, leadership development, and conscious communication. Her work is informed by years of practice within culturally diverse school communities, where attention to power, belonging, and the impact of generational trauma is essential to healing and repair. This experience has deeply shaped her relational lens and her understanding of accountability, nervous system regulation, and repair within complex human systems.
She specializes in relational and attachment-based patterns. Her approach emphasizes somatic awareness, self-trust, and inner authority, supporting clients through relationships, transitions, and moments when familiar coping strategies no longer serve.
