Bronte began working in the field of addiction 25 years ago and is an experienced Psychotherapist. Drawn to working with addiction and trauma due to her own lived experience with childhood trauma, grief and addiction, her work is deeply grounded in a strong, compassionate and holistic approach.
Bronte spent the early years of her professional life working with victims of domestic violence, homelessness, indigenous health and women’s wellbeing. She has lived in Sri Lanka where she trained in Buddhist mindfulness meditation and was part of a team of therapists that launched the country’s first online counselling platform- providing confidential, accessible therapy to those in need.
Bronte has a deep appreciation for all forms of cultural wisdom and acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia- paying respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Bronte is gentle and empathetic and aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals to explore their personal issues and find greater peace amidst life’s challenges.
