Rakel Kieding
- Life Coach

In my work, I strive to offer nonjudgmental care and create a safe, celebratory environment where you can explore your identity, relationships, trauma, or mental health without needing to justify or defend who you are.
My own experiences with trauma, work addiction, grief, shame, and internalized homophobia led me to therapy—and ultimately inspired me to become a therapist myself. For the past 17 years, I have worked as a professional dancer, bringing a deeply somatic approach to my therapeutic practice.
In addition to my dance background, I hold a Master of Science degree from the Autónoma University of Madrid and am certified in Google’s Emotional Intelligence and Neuroscience-based coaching method, Search Inside Yourself.
I integrate mindfulness practices—such as MBCT, MSC, and MBSR—with several trauma-informed approaches, including Compassionate Inquiry and Polyvagal Theory. I am a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapist and a member of the German Association of MBSR-MBCT Professionals.
Currently, I combine my work as a professional dancer and mental health coach for dancers with my practice as a Compassionate Inquiry (CI) therapist. CI is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach developed by renowned physician Dr. Gabor Maté.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have so you can determine whether I’m the right CI practitioner for you. We can arrange a free consultation via Zoom or phone.
