Liza Dehtiarenko
Description
Hi, I am Liza. I am a 33-year-old somatic therapist based in Dartington, England.
The Compassionate Inquiry approach resonates with me deeply, as it is rooted in the body and is based on safety, attunement and authentic human connection. Drawing on my background in yoga, embodied movement and mindfulness practices, I hold spaces where we slow down and learn to be present with the bodily experience, allowing it to process the unfelt, and to remember its innate capacity for healing.
As a part of this work we may explore your unconscious belief systems and how they shape your reality, learn to listen to your needs and set healthy boundaries, and integrate different parts of who you are to develop an empowering sense of wholeness.
My path and my work are rooted into my own journey of healing childhood trauma and the lack of safety growing up, connecting with my authenticity and restoring a sense of self-worth.
Prior to becoming a practitioner of mental and physical wellbeing modalities over 5 years ago, I had spent several years in the tech and startup environment. I also worked for non-government organisations in climate activism. This diverse background helps me connect authentically with people from different fields and professions, and better support their journeys within.
My sessions are professional, yet warm and loving spaces, which I believe is essential for a successful therapeutic relationship.
