Riitta-Johanna Schäublin
- Somatic Therapist

My mission is to help others reclaim their inner sovereignty by returning to the wisdom of their body.
As a somatic therapist, coach, and facilitator, I draw on a rich blend of personal insight, academic study, and professional experience to support people in healing past wounds and finding vitality, authenticity, and inner peace in the present.
My journey began in the corporate world, where I spent over a decade leading agency teams and supporting global organizations through change. Over time, I came to see—painfully—that many leadership decisions, including my own, were shaped by unconscious wounding. The impact rippled outward, affecting team dynamics, compromising the integrity of our work, and contributing to a broader footprint—one fueled more by urgency and performance than by care and conscious intention.
This realization became a turning point. I left the agency world to devote myself to the healing arts, driven by a deeper question: How do we return to our truth—so we can show up with integrity, compassion, and presence for those we lead, love, and live alongside?
Today, I integrate Compassionate Inquiry, Embodiment, and Movement Therapy to create trauma-informed spaces for transformation—spaces that gently guide people back into the wisdom of their bodies, where their truth resides. This reconnection not only supports personal healing, but also deepens how we relate—to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.
I work with individuals from all walks of life—including parents, young adults, professionals, those navigating recovery, and leaders—supporting them in cultivating deeper awareness, connection, and compassion. My practice is inclusive and responsive, meeting people wherever they are in their journey. As an expat myself, having grown up in Los Angeles and now living in Belgium for over a decade, I understand the unique challenges of navigating identity, belonging, and transition across cultures. I offer dedicated support to fellow expats as they find grounding resilience in unfamiliar landscapes.
This work meets you wherever you are—whether you’re navigating personal challenges, relational dynamics, or the complexities of leadership and organizational life. I invite you to reach out if you feel the call for meaningful, lasting change.
I am an active member of the IICT regulatory body and a certified practitioner and ongoing student of Compassionate Inquiry.
