Madeleine Grant
- Psychotherapist

I am a counselling therapist with a degree in psychology, and for almost a decade I have been supporting individuals navigating the effects of trauma, including relationship difficulties, low self-worth, disconnection, addiction, grief, anxiety, and stress. Alongside my professional training, the way I work has been deeply shaped by my own journey and naturally sensitive nature.
I spent several years living in Asia, where I immersed myself in Buddhist meditation and philosophy. These experiences continue to influence my work, helping me remain fully present and meet each client with honesty, genuine curiosity, and care. Today, my work weaves together Western evidence-based approaches with Eastern contemplative practices in a grounded and practical way.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing unfolds through the quality of the relationship. As Dr. Gabor Maté teaches, “Trauma happens in relationship, and healing happens in relationship.” For me, the therapeutic relationship is therefore one of the essential elements of the healing process.
My intention is to offer a compassionate presence that helps clients gently reconnect with themselves. Rather than trying to fix or change people, I aim to create a space where they feel seen, accepted, and safe enough to explore the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and nervous system responses that shape their lives.
Together, we work towards greater self-awareness, balance, resilience, and self-compassion, opening the possibility of meeting life’s challenges with greater ease, clarity, and authenticity.
