I love the vitality, creativity, groundedness, and ease that I have found over the last twenty years in practices that have brought me into connection with myself. Those include yoga, conscious dance, meditation, Gateless Writing and Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry.

In the first thirty-five years of my life, I checked all the boxes for success—two Ivy League degrees, prestigious work in business and education, an equally high-achieving husband, a lovely home and two Volvos in the driveway. By in my mid-forties, things started falling apart. I was caring for everyone but myself—my mother who was suffering from a chronic disease and had made several suicide attempts; my father, who had cancer; my marriage, which was falling apart; and three children, who needed lots of attention. Over the course of a decade, I become increasingly reactive, gripped by anxiety, anger, fear, and crippling back pain. This was unfamiliar to me because I had always been a high achiever and a brainiac—someone who could figure things out, manage a lot. and keep things under control.  But the old strategies no longer worked. That’s when I began discovering practices to connect me to the wisdom of my own body.

Now I share and guide clients in the practices that have been integral to my work and guide others as they learn to:

• Know and connect with themselves,
• Unleash their creativity, especially in movement and writing,
• Live in the freedom of their own authenticity.

I coach 1:1 with Compassionate Inquiry online and in-person, offer workshops in movement, meditation, and writing, and hold group and individual retreats. I offer a free 30-min zoom call for prospective clients. For scheduling and prices, please check out details on my website.
