Leila Bahri-Lucas
Before I ever became a trauma-informed coach, I was someone searching for answers. My journey into this work was not just about training, it was about making sense of my own story, understanding why we carry pain the way we do, and learning how to break free from the patterns that no longer serve us.
I am a Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner with a background in Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT). My approach integrates evidence-based psychological frameworks with deep therapeutic modalities, allowing me to approach healing through multiple lenses, bringing together the psychological, relational, and physiological aspects of transformation.
My early life experiences taught me firsthand how deeply our past shapes the way we trust, connect, and feel safe in the world. Having navigated both a difficult childhood and later, infertility, I understand what it means to sit with uncertainty, grief, and identity shifts when life does not unfold as expected. I support clients in uncovering and unraveling unconscious patterns that keep them stuck, helping them move from coping to true self-connection and choice.
While infertility remains a significant focus of my work, I support clients across a range of emotional and relational challenges, including stress, anxiety, isolation, self-worth struggles, shame, loss, and trauma. With a deep curiosity for both the science of the brain and the wisdom of the body, I help clients understand not just their emotional patterns, but what is happening beneath the surface; how trauma, attachment, and early experiences shape both our psychology and physiology. This integration allows clients to move beyond insight alone and into lasting change.
My work is primarily online, with occasional in person retreats. I currently focus on individual and group therapy, and in the Fall of 2025, I will be offering couples therapy as well. I hold a Master of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London and am passionate about bridging the gap between mind-body healing and the latest scientific insights into mental health.
I live in Dubai with my husband and daughter, who reminds me every day what it means to embrace both the known and the unknown. Over the years, I have come to see healing not as a destination but as a continuous unfolding, one that invites us to soften into ourselves, to meet what is here with curiosity, and to allow even the most painful experiences to guide us toward deeper presence.
