You’ve built a great life and you’re holding it together, just! But underneath that, something isn’t right – and you’ve known it for a while.
Maybe it’s anxiety that won’t quit. A way of numbing out that you’re not proud of. The feeling that you’re managing everything and enjoying nothing. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but you know the way you’re coping isn’t really coping at all and something needs to change.
I know this because I lived it.
For years I was the high-achiever on the hamster wheel – corporate career, busy social life, the party girl who always showed up. What I couldn’t see was that I was running on empty, using alcohol to manage the pressure, and sitting in a cycle of shame and exhaustion I couldn’t break free from.
Redundancy became a turning point. I left the corporate world, trained as a coach, and began the deepest healing work of my life – including working with plant medicine, which transformed my relationship with myself in ways I hadn’t thought possible. I’ve been alcohol-free for four years. I found my way back to myself. And the life I have now – my relationship, my work, my sense of inner peace – I once genuinely didn’t believe was available to me.
That journey is the foundation of everything I bring to this work.
How I work
I’m a Compassionate Inquiry practitioner – alongside NLP, hypnotherapy, positive psychology, and currently in my second year of Somatic Experiencing training.
What this means in practice is that we don’t just talk about what happened. We go beneath the story – into the body, into the patterns, into the places where old beliefs and trapped emotions have been quietly running the show. For clients who have done years of talk therapy and still feel stuck, this is often the missing piece.
My clients consistently tell me they feel profoundly safe in our work together – and that safety is where real change becomes possible.
“It was amazing to feel safe with Susan and be able to widen my understanding further.”
“I have started a new journey in life with myself and feel free from the anxious, fearful person I had become.”
“Life changing. I would recommend Susan one hundred times over.”
Who I work with
I work with people who are high-functioning but quietly struggling – those who don’t feel they have permission to not be okay – who have created a good life but can’t fully enjoy it. People managing anxiety, stress, and numbing behaviours who don’t feel depressed exactly, but know they aren’t coping the way they want to.
I work with both men and women, 1:1 online with clients across the UK and worldwide.
I also run Heal Yourself Whole – my signature 10-week group programme for those ready to go deeper in a supported container.
“Throughout each of her well-guided sessions I felt supported, listened to, and learned things about myself I wouldn’t have realised alone.”
“Each session left me feeling lighter, inspired, and more in tune with myself.”
