Dr. Gabor Maté
is a retired physician, bestselling author and the creator of the Compassionate Inquiry® approach to psychotherapy.

Sat Dharam Kaur ND
is a naturopathic doctor, teacher and author. She supported Dr. Gabor Maté in structuring the CI approach and online training.

Nancy Zabaneh
trained in the first global cohort of Compassionate Inquiry® practitioners and serving as its Arab Country Coordinator, brings over two decades of experience in self-inquiry, somatic healing, and conscious leadership. Based in Dubai for more than 25 years, she guides individuals and communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and globally in building resilience, awareness, and authentic transformation.

Lubna Forzley
is a certified practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry ® (CI), an Independent Circle Leader, and a champion for promoting CI in the Middle East. She is also an author, a speaker, and the founder of Stories; a digital coaching and storytelling company focused on professionals.

About the creators of Compassionate Inquiry:

Dr. Gabor Maté is a retired physician, internationally renowned speaker, and bestselling author, Dr. Gabor Maté developed the Compassionate Inquiry® approach through more than two decades of clinical work in family medicine, palliative care, and addiction treatment.
His method evolved further through trauma-healing workshops and his exploration of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Sat Dharam Kaur N.D. is the co-creator and CEO of Compassionate Inquiry®. A naturopathic doctor, author, and educator, she specializes in addiction recovery, women’s health, and mind-body medicine.
She is the Facilitation Director, as well as an active facilitator and mentor in the CI community and continues to shape its global training programs.
