Anca Stanciu

Private Mentor, Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist

My journey with Compassionate Inquiry began in 2021, marking a turning point that deeply reshaped both my professional work and personal life. What started as a training program became a process of continuous transformation, refining how I listen, connect, and hold space for others. From student to certified practitioner and now mentor, I’ve come to see and understand CI not just as a methodology but as a way of being.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. There were many difficult moments when my inner critical voice drowned out all others. During those times, mentors were there for me—seeing beyond my fears and offering the support I needed. It was then that I truly understood the power of mentorship: to see the potential in someone when they can’t yet see it themselves, and to help them move beyond their limitations.

As a mentor, I offer a grounded, supportive presence, blending warmth with direct, clear feedback. My role is to help you navigate the learning process with confidence, so you can refine your skills in a way that feels natural and authentic. Together, we’ll explore the challenges that arise, identify patterns in your practice, and integrate CI principles in a way that’s true to your unique way of working.

I believe mentoring is a collaborative process, where support and guidance come together in a way that meets you where you are, allowing you to grow both personally and professionally.

I live in Romania with my husband and three children. Our home is a source of energy and joy, and it inspires me to approach mentorship with patience, playfulness and understanding, helping you to grow while honoring your own pace.

Professional Background:

  • Licensed Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Expertise in psychotherapy, including CBT, Hypnotherapy, Psychology of Aging, Transgenerational Trauma, and Motherhood.
  • In my private practice, I integrate CI as both a stand-alone approach and alongside other therapeutic modalities, focusing on how unconscious patterns and somatic experiences overlap.

Mentorship Focus:

  • Practical guidance: Helping you address challenges and integrate CI principles in a way that aligns with your unique practice.
  • Direct feedback: Providing clear, actionable feedback to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding.
  • Integration: Supporting you in blending CI with your existing therapeutic methods and personal style, creating a cohesive approach.
  • Confidence-building: Helping you gain trust in your instincts, refine your practice, and develop a natural sense of ease with CI.

I look forward to walking this transformative journey with you, supporting your growth every step of the way, and helping you create a meaningful, authentic practice that resonates with both you and your clients.
