My name is Sangeeta Kaur Khalsa (Ugalde Pascual). I was born in 1987 and grew up in Santiago, Chile, where I studied Environmental Biology at the University of Chile. It was there that I first encountered the practice of Kundalini Yoga (KY).
In 2010, I moved to the Atacama Desert to work and to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Management at Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN). In 2015, after completing my training as a Kundalini Yoga Instructor, I embarked on a journey to explore new places and cultures around the world; it was in the Netherlands where I met my husband, Esteban.
I traveled throughout Asia for several months and, in Amritsar, India, I began my studies in Gurbani Kirtan (Naad Yoga). Later, I traveled and lived in Europe, where I trained as a Level 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher. In Pisa, Italy, I lived for five years, during which time I completed a Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Practiceat the University of Pisa and trained as an Instructor of Mindfulness-Based and Contemplative Practice for Stress Reduction (MBSR). During this period, I deepened my Buddhist meditation practice at the ILTK Institute.
I worked at the association “Le Dieci Lune”, where I taught Kundalini Yoga and Mindfulness to pregnant women and mothers in the postpartum period (mother–baby yoga). I also taught Kundalini Yoga classes for adults and community classes within the Beyond Addiction program. In parallel, I completed the Compassionate Inquiry (CI) training, finishing the year-long program with the February 2021 cohort under the guidance of Sat Dharam.
In 2022, our wonderful daughter was born, and her arrival marked a turning point in my personal work and my own healing process. In 2024, I graduated as a Transpersonal Therapist (UEMC) and as a Transpersonal Therapy Facilitator, First Degree (EDTe).
Throughout my journey in Kundalini Yoga, I completed Level 3 of the 21 Stages of Meditation (KRI), as well as specializations in Women’s Kundalini Yoga (Joti Sarovar), Pre- and Postnatal Yoga (Conscious Pregnancy), Children’s Yoga (Children Yoga Bhajan), and as a trainer in the Beyond Addiction Program. I feel a deep passion for healing through the sacred technique of Sat Nam Rasayan, in which I am certified at Level 2.
Currently, I dedicate my life to motherhood and to supporting mothers and fathers through the processes of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. I teach Kundalini Yoga and co-facilitate the Beyond Addiction Program, supporting individuals in addiction recovery, habit change, stress reduction, self-care, human development, and personal, spiritual, and emotional growth. I accompany the exploration of lived experience, facilitating a deep connection with the body, authenticity, and true identity.
The exploration of personal life experiences is facilitated primarily through Compassionate Inquiry, Sat Nam Rasayan, and Yogic philosophy, allowing for a compassionate, honest, and profound understanding of the human experience. Compassionate Inquiry invites the recognition of unconscious stories that shape one’s life, the release of these stories through presence, compassion, and curiosity, and the opening of space for authenticity, expression, freedom, and connection with inner truth.
I came into this life to illuminate and to serve with love, so that every Being may recognize the light that shines within, see the truth, and be liberated from suffering.
Sessions are available online or in person in Santiago de Chile and Papudo, Fifth Region of Chile, and are facilitated in Spanish, Italian, and English within a compassionate and integrative therapeutic space.
