Mary is a licensed Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture who brings a diverse and dynamic background to the Compassionate Inquiry (CI) community. Her path reflects a unique integration of disciplines, offering a foundation for cultivating confidence, presence, and the capacity to navigate the unknown—while embodying one’s authentic flow.

In addition to being a Certified CI Practitioner, Mary serves in multiple roles within the CI organization, including Mentor in the Mentorship Program, Short Course Educator, Circle Leader, Mentorship Program Coordinator, and Skills Building Lab Coordinator.

Mary also holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and brings over two decades of experience in the aviation industry. Her aviation career includes roles as a Commercial Airline Pilot, Flight Operations Coordinator, Aircraft Flight Instructor, and Jet Aircraft Full Flight Simulator Instructor.

This wide-ranging professional experience—paired with her deep personal journey grounded in shamanic and spiritual practices—shapes Mary’s presence as both practitioner and educator. Her approach blends calm assurance with perceptive insight, creating spaces of safety, trust, and transformation. She skillfully supports others in learning to meet and hold challenging emotions, respond to the unforeseen, and identify new possibilities—ultimately restoring flow and confidence.

Mary continues to deepen her practice through the ongoing study of the work of Dan Siegel, Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fisher, Frank Anderson, and, of course, Gabor Maté. Her presence invites growth, grounded awareness, and a return to one's own inner wisdom—gently encouraging each individual to “take flight.”
