Description

As a Compassionate Inquiry (CI) Practitioner since 2019 and a member of the first graduating cohort, I bring together a wealth of personal and professional experience into a unique approach to healing. My practice integrates Compassionate Inquiry, yoga therapy, and evidence-based psychological methods to support clients in their journey toward personal growth, self-discovery, and reconnection.

Holding a doctorate in Counselling & Psychotherapy, I have dedicated nearly 15 years to working with diverse populations, including First Nations, youth, and marginalized communities. My specializations include substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their inner worlds. Having witnessed the transformative power of blending Eastern spiritual practices with Western psychological approaches, I understand that true healing begins with self-acceptance and the courage to look inward.

My involvement in the CI community extends beyond my counselling practice. I contributed to the development of Internship, Mentorship, and Mentor-In-Training programmes, reflecting my commitment to fostering accessibility and growth within this healing framework. I believe that the journey of ‘Inner Work’ demands radical honesty, profound patience, and an openness to present-moment awareness.

Outside of my counselling practice, I am settling into my new home in Georgian Bay, getting to know the trails with my two huskies, Diesel and Luna. I also love travelling to remote areas to offer Compassionate Inquiry Circles to our First Nation communities. The recent embrace of my Métis roots and Algonquin heritage has deepened my understanding of the importance of integrating traditional practices into everyday life.

Through my work, I aim to empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves, heal past wounds, and cultivate meaningful, lasting change.
